We proudly announce the return of Ember Shores, ILLENIUM’s destination festival in Riviera Maya, Mexico! Ember Shores bring Illenials from around the world for the ultimate vacation & festival experience, December 5th-7th, 2025.

This one-of-a-kind event will take place across 3-days at a 5-star all-inclusive resort, Barceló Riviera Maya Resort. It will feature 3 unique performances from ILLENIUM, a massive support lineup, multiple stages, and endless activities & tropical amenities for fans to enjoy.

The only way to experience Ember Shores is by purchasing your package through the event. Outside guests will not be permitted to attend the festival and only event attendees will be granted access to the stage, activities and other amenities.

Your hotel package is your ticket to the show!

Festival & Hotel Check-In

Official festival check-in starts at 8:00 AM on Friday, December 5th, 2025.

Official Festival check-out is 12:00 PM on Monday, December 8th, 2025.

You must have your passport with you to check in.

At check-in, you will receive a welcome packet including your festival wristband, Barceló Riviera Maya Resort’s all-inclusive wristband, a festival info packet, and more. Both wristbands must be worn at all times.

Each guest must check in with the festival and hotel. It’s OK if you do not arrive together, but we do suggest groups arrive & check in together whenever possible.

Resort rooms are available as the resort staff cleans them. If you arrive early in the day and your room is not ready, the festival staff will take your contact information and text you once it is ready. In the meantime, the resort will hold your bags, and you will be free to explore the property and enjoy all-inclusive food and drink while waiting for your room to be ready.

Each resort will require a credit card from the first person checking into the room for incidental charges and place a $200 hold on it. This card must be a credit card; debit cards will not be accepted.

Guest Names & Rooming List

The lead booker/buyer is responsible for the guest names on the rooming list and is solely responsible for making any changes to the list. The only people allowed to stay in your room and attend the festival must be on your list, with no exceptions.

All guests staying in your room will receive an all-inclusive resort wristband. This wristband is also the key to your room.

All guests must be submitted by Tuesday, October 21st, 2025. After that, the form will be locked, and a $150 late fee will be applied to any names submitted after that.

If you purchase a room on or after Tuesday, October 21st, you will have one week to submit names via this form or a $150 late name change fee will be applied.

Name Changes & Transfers

The lead booker/buyer is responsible for the guest names on the rooming list and is solely responsible for making any changes to the room.

If you would like to change the rooming form after submitting your list, please use the contact form below to get in touch.

A $150 name change fee will be applied after Tuesday, October 21st, 2025. If you purchased a room on or after Tuesday, October 21st, you have a one-week grace period to submit names via the contact form below.

If you would like to transfer ownership of your room, please use the contact form below to get in touch. The deadline to transfer your room is Tuesday, October 21st, 2025; a late name change fee will be applied afterward.

For your safety, it’s recommended that you already know everybody in your group personally before adding them to your room. Adding people to your room you’ve only met online is generally not a good idea.

Airport Pickup

Ember Shores will provide free shuttle service to and from the Cancun International Airport (CUN)! Shuttles will run periodically from Tuesday, December 2nd, to Friday, December 5th, and continuing Monday, December 8th, to Thursday, December 11th.

If you have not purchased your extended nights directly through the festival, we cannot guarantee that a shuttle will be available for you.

You may purchase packages for another individual, just be sure to list the correct names on the purchased package and that the individual is at least 18 years of age.

Additional Nights

Many event attendees will choose to extend their vacation.

Arrive a day early to settle in, familiarize yourself with the property, and prepare for the party. Stay a day late to relax, recover, and revisit your favorite moments from the Festival.

Extended nights are highly recommended, as they grant access to many perks including:

  • Faster check-in and shorter lines.
  • A full night’s sleep before the music begins Friday.
  • An extra day of all-inclusive food, drink, and resort experience.
  • First dibs on restaurant and spa reservations.
  • Early access to merch.

When you purchase your room, a link to purchase pre-festival and post-festival nights will be released shortly after the general on-sale.

Pre Nights:

  • If you purchase 3 pre-nights, your ticket will be good for the nights of 12/2 – 12/4.
  • If you purchase 2 pre-nights, your ticket will be good for the nights of 12/3 & 12/4.
  • If you purchase 1 pre-night, your ticket will be good for the night of 12/4.

These nights, in addition to your existing reservation for the nights of 12/5 – 12/7, will be all-inclusive.

Post Nights:

  • If you purchase 3 post-nights, your ticket will be good for the nights of 12/8 – 12/10.
  • If you purchase 2 post-nights, your ticket will be good for the nights of 12/8 & 12/9.
  • If you purchase 1 post-night, your ticket will be good for the night of 12/8.

These nights, in addition to your existing reservation for the nights of 12/5 – 12/7, will be all inclusive.

Extended nights not booked through the festival cannot be linked to other reservations, and guests will need to check out and check back into a new room on the official festival start date.

Ember Shores can not guarantee airport shuttles for guests who have booked their extended nights directly through the resort, as we schedule shuttles based on festival reservations only. Buying your extensions through us is the only way to receive the same room for the entirety of your stay.

Restaurant Reservations

Reservations will be necessary for all specialty restaurants in advance to guarantee availability and your preferred seating times.

Reservations can only be made in person while onsite at the resorts.

If you are arriving early at the festival, you can make your reservations for your whole stay when you arrive. Reservations are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Ember Shores guests who extend their stay to arrive early have the first chance at restaurant reservations.

At all sections of the Barceló Riviera Maya Resort, there are both reservation-only restaurants, and walk-in buffets.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

All sales for Ember Shores are final and non-refundable.

In the unlikely event that Ember Shores is canceled, purchasers will be issued a full refund.

If Ember Shores is rescheduled, purchased tickets will be honored for the new dates. If you cannot attend in the new timeframe, you will be issued a refund for your ticket.

Documentation (Passports / I.D.’s)
If you are not a resident of Mexico a valid passport will be required to enter the country. You will also need a valid I.D. to check-in to the hotel and obtain your credentials.

Wifi is free and provided by the resorts and the local airport.

The resorts use U.S. outlet format, so no converters are necessary.

Laundry
Laundry is available for a small fee and is provided by the resorts.

Is airfare included in package pricing?
Airfare is not included in the price of your package.

Can I purchase an Ember Shores package and stay at another hotel? Will day passes be offered?
Ember Shores festival passes are available only to lead bookers and their rooming list. Day passes will not be available for the festival, and nobody will be allowed onto the property if they are not on a rooming list for a package.

Can I attend the event without a hotel package?
No, you may only attend the event if you purchase a hotel package through embershores.com and seetickets.us.

Can we purchase more than one room on a card?
A maximum of two rooms per credit card can be purchased.

When is check-in and check-out?
Hotel check-in begins at 3:00 PM, and check-out time is 12:00 PM. Early arrivals will be accommodated based on availability. If you arrive early, the resort can hold onto your luggage, and you can enjoy the pool and other great amenities.

Can we change or transfer names in the room?
Name changes and package transfers are possible on packages for no charge until Tuesday, October 21st, 2025. Any late name changes or additions are subject to a $150 late fee. If you need to adjust your reservation, please submit your inquiry using the contact form below.

What if a group member is unable to attend the event?
All Ember Shores sales are final. However, fully paid packages can be transferred, and names on your rooming list can be adjusted until Tuesday, October 21st, 2025. For additional questions, please reach out using the contact form below.
